Watertight compartments on Excess catamarans
I am unable to find any information in the specification sheets for these boats about watertight compartments / Bulkheads on Excess 11 and 12.
Do these boats have any watertight compartment at rear covering the engine / rudders?
Are there crash zones in each of the bows?
Guidance much appreciated.

All Excess models have 4 watertight compartments : the 2 forepeaks and the 2 engine compartments.
The volume of these compartments is designed to enable balanced floatability in case of damage.
To be noted : These compartments can be drained towards the bilge pump of each hull, with dedicated hoses and valves.

Tous les modèles Excess sont dotés de 4 compartiments étanches: 2 coquerons avant et 2 compartiments moteur.
Le volume de ces compartiments est conçu pour garantir une flottabilité équilibrée en cas d'avarie.
À noter : Les eaux de ces compartiments peuvent être drainées vers la pompe de cale de chaque coque, à l'aide de tuyaux et de vannes spécialement conçus à cet effet.
